ASHBURNHAM -- Robert T. Meyer, 58, of 18 Blueberry Road, formerly of Lancaster, a state electrician, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, at home after being stricken ill.
He leaves his former wife, Susan (Lanfranchi) Meyer; a son, Robert T. Meyer of Vienna, Va.; a daughter, Denise A. Meyer of North Attleboro; a sister, Carol A. Martin of Lancaster; nieces and nephews. A brother, Frederick Meyer, died in February. He was born in Boston, son of Ralph and Ada (Warren) Meyer, and lived many years in Lancaster and six years in Ashburnham. He attended the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.
Mr. Meyer was an electrician for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Capital Operations and Planning.
He was a member of the National Association of Government Employees.
The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29, in James E. Watson Funeral Home, 149 Water St., Clinton. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, in the funeral home. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 40 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
