She was born in Chicago and formerly lived in Norwood Park. She is survived by her husband, C. Donald; a son, Donald; a daughter, Susan Johnston; her mother, Viola Nissen; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in Strang Funeral Home, 1055 Main St., Antioch. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home
