Kaser, Kyle Reuben 80 07/10/1930 08/16/2010 Kyle was born July 10, 1930, in Gresham to Reuben Kaser and Mabel Pullen. He graduated from Gresham High School in 1948 and attended the Museum Art School. He worked in the display department of Sears, Roebuck and Co. and then served overseas as a sergeant in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during the Korean War. On his return, he attended Portland State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science. Kyle married Stella Lindberg Aug. 24, 1957. He taught art at Centennial High School and Parkrose Heights Junior High School. Later, he was a safety engineer for Wausau Insurance and retired from Portland Public Schools as a safety consultant. Kyle is survived by his wife, Stella of Tigard; son, Christopher; daughter-in-law, Julie; grandchildren, Emmeline and Bret, all of Ridgefield, Conn.; daughter, Lisa; grandson, William, both of Portland; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Kyle's life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, in Metzger Park Hall, 8400 S.W. Hemlock St., Tigard In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Tigard Library.
