| Karoline Margrethe Rossen (nee Ostheim genannt Christ) and Rosa Johansen (nee Christiansen According to living relatives (2015) then this picture was taken when the 2 sisters met for the fist time after they were separated from each other at young age. Both ended up at foster parents after their mother died at young age, Karoline was 1½ years old and Rosa was just about to celebrate her 3rd birthday. Their father Friedrich Emil Ostheim genannt Christ left them at relatives of their mother.
NOTE: Both are wearing identical necklaces. Maybe a kind of reunion gift? |

It says that Rosa´s parents Friedrich Emil Ostheim genannt Christ and Anna Maria Christiansen weren´t married when Rosa was born in 1910. They married on 9th of October 1910 in Tønder, about half a year after Rosa was born on 23 of March 1910. |
