    • Grover G. Cole, 91, of Kinsley, KS; formally of Curtis died February 24, 2012 in Dodge City, KS. Grover was born November 24, 1920 in Stockville, NE, to George Cleveland and Judith Mary(Bailey) Cole.

      Grover attend school in Stockville, NE. Following school Grover served his country as an Army Air Corpsman. He received the American Theater Ribbon, A P T Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Ribbon.

      Grover married Katherine J. Thompson on July 3, 1939 at Stockville, NE; to this union three children were born: Arthur, Larry and Georgia.

      Grover worked as a Farmer / Aircraft Electrician.

      Grover made their home in Kinsley, Kansas for the past 28 years.

      Survivors are: son, Arthur C. Cole of Owassa, OK.; son, Larry K. Cole of Spearville, KS.; daughter, Georgia Howe of Prospect, KY.; eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
