    EPPING -- Harold B. Braley Sr., 77, died Nov. 25, 2013, at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, after a long period of declining health following a major stroke nine years ago.

    He was born Jan. 28, 1936, in Northwood, son of the late George Moses Braley and Bertha (Murray) Braley. Harold was the youngest of 13 children. He grew up in Northwood and Epping. Harold lived more than 50 years on St. Laurent St. in Epping.

    He spent most of his adult life working at Spaulding and Frost Barrel Co. in Fremont and later worked in woodworking at the Penny Fence Co. in Derry for 15 years. Harold was on both the volunteer police and fire departments in Epping.

    He is survived by his son, Harold Braley Jr.; a stepson, John Long; a stepdaughter, Serina Roy; five grandchildren, Allyson Roy, Austin Long, Cole Long, Jordan Long and Kayla Braley; and several nieces and nephews.

    SERVICES: Calling hours will be held Saturday, Nov. 30, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Church, Epping. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Epping.

    Flowers are acceptable.

    I will always remember Uncle Harold. he would always make it a point to come see me when I came up to N.H. when I hauled a load up there.I will miss him as All of the family..he is now with the rest of his family . rest in peace Uncle Harold

    I brought my mother (Barbara Healey-Braley to visit with Uncle Harold in the summer of 2005 we had a very nice visit. We talked about the good old day's and about my dad James Braley, he looked really good. I sent him pictures that he said he would like and I hope some one got them and kept them. That's how I remember him laughing and sitting in his chair.

    I am so sorry to hear of uncle Harold's passing. It is so very sad to see the last of Grammy Braley's family now deceased. No more fathers mothers, aunts and uncles. This realization makes me so very sad! My heart goes out to all our family as we all grieve our loss! Rest in peace uncle Harold!!!

    So sorry for your loss. My Condolence to the Family. .. I am sure you do not know me but as a young child guessing 7 or 8 years old my Dad I would go to the Braley Farm .. now off of Rt 43.. I always wondered where all the family moved to..so close but so far..Memories last forever..

    I remember my Dad as being so strong and so protective of me, I always felt safe and loved when we were together. When Ally, his grandaughter was born, the love just grew.....thanks for being my Dad, and now our guardian....Serina
