Brother of Jean Valentine of Block Island, R.I. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Barry Holm and a sister, Mildred Collins. He was born in New Haven, July 10, 1916 son of the late Henry and Elizabeth MacKenzie Holm. He was a director for the former CT Medical Service and a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Army. Mr Holm was also a member of the Masons and a former resident of West Haven. Arrangements are in care of BEECHER & BENNETT TAYLOR Funeral Home, 410 Campbell Ave. at Court St., West Haven. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 5 at 10:30 a.m. at the Masonic Home Chapel, 3rd Floor, 22 Masonic Ave., Wallingford, CT. In Wallingford, May 6, 2003, Betty Fowler Holm, 86, of Pond Ridge, formerly of West Haven, wife of the late Walter H. Holm, mother of Peter Holm of Easthampton, MA. Sister of Dorothy Smith of Cheshire. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Barry Holm and a brother, Johnny Fowler. She was born in New Haven, May 29, 1916 daughter of the late Lester and Edith Fadden Fowler. She had worked as a secretary for the West Haven Schools prior to her retirement.
Memorial service will be held Thursday morning, May 15 at 10:30 at the Masonic Home Chapel, 22 Masonic Ave., Wallingford.
