Maurice Foldoe, 82, formerly of Hallock, MN died Monday, June 9, 2003.

Maurice was born July 10, 1920 to Anna and Alfred Foldoe in Red Lake County, MN.

He served in the U.S. Army from Oct. 26, 1942 to Dec. 30, 1945. He was stationed in the Phillipines during WWII.

Maurice married Catherine Skaggs April 18, 1975.

Maurice worked for Ingersoll Rand in Tulsa, Okla. until his retirement.

Family survivors include his wife, Catherine; daughters and sons-in-law Bonnie and Doug Theroux, Weaverville, N.C., Carole and Dick Gatheridge, Humboldt, Debra Foldoe, Dallas, Texas, Son and Daughter-in-law Richard and Amani, Daytona, Fla./Cairo, Egypt, and step daughter and son-in-law Kay and Jerry Sextro, St. Louis, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-laws Les and Elaine, Mentor; Stan and Shirley, Minneapolis, and sister and brother-in-law Wilma and Anton Oleson, Ariz.

Memorial services were held in St. Louis, Mo. June 10, with burial in the St. Louis Veterans Cemetery.

Because he loved music and was a musician for over seven decades, all memorials were sent to the Hallock High School Music Department. 


Shirley Ann Rossen and Maurice Allan Foldoe were married twice. First time around 1941 and 2nd time in 1972. Both marriages were divorced

Maurice married Shirley Ann Rossen on 11 Feb 1972 in Codington, South Dakota, USA, and was divorced on 28 Jul 1971 in Hennepin, Minnesota, USA. Shirley (daughter of James Henry Casey and Edna Katherine Rossen) was born on 17 Dec 1924; died in Apr 1990. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
