Betty C. Rossen
1923-2016

Betty Cantzler Rossen of Houston,Texas, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on October 31, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Henry Rossen. She is survived by their three children, Robert (Linda Kubena) Rossen of Houston, Marjorie (Brent) Rieke of Morton, Illinois, and William (Janice) Rossen of Delft, the Netherlands, seven grandchildren, Jeanette (Stefan) Driesner, Joshua (Colleen) Rieke, Mary (Trent) Gerig, Laura (Paul) Johnston, Jordan (Becky) Rossen, Matthew Rossen, and Alyssa Rossen, and 17 great grandchildren.
Betty was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on June 7, 1923. Her main focus in life was her family.
She graduated from the University of Chicago and spent many years teaching science. She enjoyed painting, singing, gardening, travel, entertaining, and volunteer work. Throughout her life, she provided loving support, an optimistic outlook, and cheerful encouragement to family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
